Yesterday was Giving Tuesday. According to Wikipedia, Giving Tuesday is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. Well, since I’m a self-promoting, selfish you-know-what, I missed it.
Feeling bad, and hoping to corner the “Belated Giving Tuesday” (a/k/a Wednesday) market, I’m gonna appeal to your sense of charity to consider donating to a worthy cause. A Wisconsin company plans to microchip its employees. Would you do it too?
Right before pinball jumped the shark in the early ’90s, there was this movie called Demolition Man. It starred Sylvester Stallone, Sandra Bullock, Wesley Snipes, and the guy who played the evil warden in Shawshank Redemption. IMDB readers scored Demolition Man a 6.6 out of 10, which is generous. But, that’s not the point of this post.
