VLOG: Why I’m not eligible for FFCRA leave this summer, but you might be.

Late last week, the U.S. Department of Labor issued this Field Assistance Bulletin. It addresses when employees can take Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) leave based on the closure of summer camps, summer enrichment programs, and other summer programs.

Last night, I recorded this short video on The Employer Handbook YouTube Channel, in which I explain this guidance. Shamelessly, I also divulge why my wife and I won’t be getting any expanded FMLA leave under the FFCRA this Summer. And we’re totally cool with it. #Sorrynotsorry.
