When can you fire the employee who just complained about discrimination or took FMLA leave?

Oh, I get it. You just clicked on this post for a friend.

Well, on the one hand, I should thank you for your interest in this blog post. On the other, now I have to order a new fleet of computer servers since you’ve crashed pretty much all of the existing ones.

But, before my electronic infrastructure falters completely like the Dallas Cowboys in an important playoff game, head on over to HR Dive, where me a bunch of other employment lawyers, including fellow employment lawyer and blogger Phil Miles, discuss what to do (and not to do) when disciplining an employee that recently engaged in protected activity.

(Spoiler Alert: I’m the most risk aggressive.)

Special thanks to Jennifer Carsen for including me in her article.
