These were the most read posts of 2023. Plus, a MAJOR announcement coming on Friday…

“You keep reading; I’ll keep writing.”

Nine times out of ten, that’s how I close my replies to readers of this blog who email me.

I didn’t know that when I started writing this blog in 2011, the enjoyment I get from writing about employment law and engaging with you nerds about it would continue to grow. But it has. And while I have yet to reap the benefits of reader gifts of bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (hint, hint), this is a labor of love.

So you keep reading; I’ll keep writing.

(By the way, the one time out of ten is often my father reminding me to call my sister in Switzerland because she hasn’t heard from me in a while. Dad, I’m on it.)

Fortunately, readers of this blog have built up their tolerance to the typos and grammar errors that have historically plagued this blog. But Grammarly (not a paid sponsor) has helped, and audience numbers continue to spike.

This year, we added about 400 subscribers to bring the total to just over 6,500. And since I’ve reinforced the servers with steel and bubble gum, I think we can handle a few more. So, if you know someone who might like to subscribe to receive these blog posts via email, please invite them to do so.

To the new readers and the real OGs, thank you for your support.

Now, let’s unveil the most-read posts of 2023:

  1. Thank you, EEOC, for this new ADA visual disabilities in the workplace guidance document
  2. Yes, you must comply with the Temporary Workers’ Bill of Rights in New Jersey
  3. The EEOC has a new resource document for assisting individuals with hearing disabilities
  4. Two United States Senators are about to introduce something called the “No Robot Bosses Act”
  5. If you hire someone who says they are in a drug treatment program, don’t do this…

But we’ll see if we can shake up those rankings before the end of the year. After all, I did tease a major announcement coming on Friday.
